MICROGRAPHICS | MICROFILM | MICROFICHE
Unlike magnetic or optical media, microfilm has proven it’s stability for long term (100+ years) and/or archival storage (>500 years). Images on film can always be retrieved as they are “eye readable”. A light source and lens is all that is required. Film does not become obsolete and therefore assures that the information required continues to be accessible.
Business Systems of South Carolina has a worldwide dealer network that provides products that meet the changing needs of our customers. Micrographics can be considered a vital media when implementing a document management program for your business.

Business Systems of South Carolina offers a full line of microfilm scanners. There are two kinds of microfilm scanners. Please read below for more information about these scanners.
One is the considered a point of use scanner where this model will be located where people need to look up information on their microfilm and microfiche for their use. Once the information is located on the film or fiche it can then be scanned by the scanner and then printed, emailed, or saved in a computer.
The other type of microfilm or microfiche scanner is considered a high volume scanner where microfilm or microfiche can be scanned in large volumes just to be able to put all the information on your computer.
